Coudroy Maison Neuve montagne-St.Emilion France
A classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the satellite region of Montagne St Emilion. A bold garnet red colour with a rich fruit nose, hints of coffee that lead to ripe dark stone fruit and berry flavour with a great balance. Firm body and succulent finish.
This red, which stands out for its magnificent balance, is already tasty today but it will continue to develop favorably over the next few years.
Maisone Neuve has grown it's vineyards over the years and now has 72 hectares (62 in Montagne St Emilion and the remainder in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Pomerol). The family can trace its wine making roots back to the 16th century and they are fully aware of their responsibility for the land they manages and use practices of viniculture which are "sympathetic farming" with complete respect for the enviroment.
A saddle of lamb and of course the poultry and game. A haute couture wine not to be missed under any circumstances!
