Nero 'D Avola Adesso Sicily Italy
Nero D'Avola is one of Italy's most important grapes. It is generally grown in Sicily and produces a wine deep cherry in colour. It will often present itself as a dry full-bodied wine with mild acidity and round fruit .It takes its name from the town of Avola, near Syracuse. This very popular wine is the most cultivated in this region, the province of Castelvetrano.
Typical Nero d’Avola of black cherry, blackberry, plum and blueberry. The wine is full and robust, silky smooth with tannins that are gentle and well integrated, lacking any harshness that can be found in some Nero D’Avola wines.
Food Pairing You will appreciate it with mature cheeses. It goes very well with risotto or pasta made with tomato sauce, also grilled or roasted meats.
