Pierre Henri Ginglinger Cremant
Straw coloured with and elegant fine bead of bubbles. On the nose fresh light and fruity on the palate delicate and fruity with green apple, peach and flower notes. In the same manner as Champagne, Pierre Henri Ginglinger Cremant's fizz is derived from the addition of a “liqueur de tirage”, made from a mix of natural yeast and sugar, which results in a second fermentation in the bottle. Bottle aging lasts 18-20 months, followed by remuage (turning the bottles) and disgorging (removing the yeast from the bottles). Resulting in a truly fantastic Cremant (Champagne without the price tag). In 1610 the Ginglinger family planted their first wines in the area of Eguisheim and the 12th generation stepped up to the mark when Pierre Henri’s son Mathieu took over the running of the 15ha estate. In 2001 the entire vineyards and wines were awarded Eco Cert certification.
