Salvalai Pinot Grigio Wine Italy
Color: bright straw yellow. Aroma: fresh and delicate on the nose, characterised by a subtle elegant floral nuance followed by hints of apples and distinctive vegetal notes. Taste: dry and medium-bodied, the palate faithfully reflects the nose. Pairing: As aperitif with appetizers, mixed grilled fish, chicken salad, fresh cheese. Best served at 10°C Winemaking: Harvest strictly hand-picked in the first ten days of September. Vinification: the must obtained from the soft pressing of the entire grapeis left to ferment at a controlled temperature. When spring is well underway it is bottled and then bottle-aged for at least another two months. Salvalai has been producing quality wines since 1870. Wine-making traditions are expressed to the full in a winery whose wines have been popular and respected throughout the world for many years now. In the late '60s, Salvalai was one of the first wineries in the area to successfully export its wines beyond Italy's borders.
