Intense bouquet with immediate cherry flavour changing to blackberries and liquorice. Dry and herbaceous on the palate, round and full bodied.

Casa Vinicola Botter: Founded in 1928 in the Veneto region, 30 km northeast of Venice, by Carlo Botter, the company began as a small business trading in local Veneto wines in barrels and demijohns.
The nose is intensely aromatic with alpine strawberries and cherry, plus cinnamon and other spices in the background.
The harvested and destemmed grapes undergo 7-8 days of cold soaking in order to extract colour and structure prior to fermentation. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are made in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature 25-27°C. The wine obtained is aged for at least 24 months, 9 of which in wooden barrels.
Great with roasts, games, grilled meats and firm cheeses.
