It is a wine of medium intensity of color. Its bouquet is elegant, quite powerful, marked by a dominant of small red fruits, then evolving towards undergrowth after a few years of aging. Supple, discreetly tannic.
More information :
The vineyards of Maratray Dubreuil have been worked by the same family for three generations and are deeply embedded in the Cote de Beaune. The Maratray family is originally from the village of Ladoix and the Dubreul family vineyards came from the village of Pernand Vergelesses.
The vineyards are now managed by the sister and brother team of Marie Madeleine and Francis Xavier Maratray. All grapes are hand harvested and Francis Xavier decides how each wine is vinified, according to its terroir, climate and vintage.
