THE WINEMAKERS
Located at the foot of the famous Brouilly Hill , in the heart of Beaujolais, Marcelle & Michel BERTRAND created the estate in 1956.
Two decades later, Maryse and Jean-Pierre gradually took over the torch before taking over the management of the estate in 1996.
In 2014, they were joined by their son, Julien, to perpetuate the family tradition of the estate, passed down with passion for three generations.
Domaine Bertrand now extends over 15 ha, from Charentay to Juliénas and offers you wines that are distinctive and representative of the diversity and richness of their terroirs.
You will discover the vintages Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas, Moulin à Vent as well as Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages for a “stroll” through all the diversity of Beaujolais.
Concerned about our environment and registered in a sustainable approach, the estate has been certified in Organic Agriculture since 2020 and is conducted according to the principles of agroecology.
Rigorous work in the vineyard, harvests carried out "by hand", the winemakers take particular care of the region's king grape variety, Gamay.
