Italian Durum Pasta Busiata is a Sicilian durum wheat semolina pasta, milled with natural stone. Drawn in slow drying bronze, this pasta is a typical specialty of the Trapani area. Its name is taken from the busi, i.e. the needles for working the wool, which in the past were used to make it.
It is a very special pasta, whose specialty lies in that twisted shape which allows the condiments to be retained well. This makes it unique in its kind and very tasty on the palate.
