This is a medium-bodied Pinot Noir, subtle, smooth and velvety with succulent cranberries, strawberry and red cherries and a spicy overlay.

Pair with seared duck breast and redcurrant sauce or veal with mushrooms.

During the time of trade embargoes in South Africa, growers and winemakers smuggled new vine material into the country by hiding the cuttings in Wellington boots.
