DiamAndes de Uco Viognier is a 100% Viognier. This great grape variety produces excellent wines in the French region of Condrieu. With the warm days, thanks to the particular climate of the DiamAndes cellars - the cool nights above sea level, the Viognier here a very interesting unique expression. Its silky smooth structure and attack on the palate give way to an explosion of white flower fruit flavors, a flinty minerality, some apricot notes and even fresh almonds. The whole is elegant, complex and with a strong identity.
Bodega DiamAndes, with its magnificent gravity-fed facilities in the foothills of the Andes at an altitude of 1,000 metres, covers 130 hectares on a single block in the Clos de los Siete in Mendoza (Uco Valley). The vineyard is farmed sustainably. The wines reflect this Andean terroir, warm and powerful, with the balance and freshness that altitude brings.
