“INCITADOR” by Viñedos Real Rubio: the most exclusive sparkling wine from DOCa Rioja.
In a land where legendary reds have written history, only a few dare to defy tradition. Viñedos Real Rubio is one of them. Their sparkling wine, “INCITADOR,” is far from a passing novelty — it has established itself as a rare oenological gem, crafted in one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions: DOCa Rioja.
Producing a sparkling wine in Rioja is not common. It requires boldness, precision, and a deep connection to the land. Very few wineries attempt it. Even fewer achieve it with such elegance, character, and personality—qualities that place INCITADOR in a class of its own.
INCITADOR is born from carefully selected grapes, crafted through a meticulous process that honors both tradition and modernity. Its name is no coincidence: this wine invites, provokes, awakens the senses and challenges even the most refined palates.
"Making a sparkling wine in Rioja is not a trend — it’s a statement of principles," says Víctor Rubio, the winery’s winemaker. "With INCITADOR, we aimed to offer something unique. Not for the sake of being different, but for being authentic. For its origin, its process, its soul."
With its fine bubbles, clean and lasting freshness, and subtly complex aromatic expression, INCITADOR will get the party started in style.
About Viñedos Real Rubio
With a generous inheritance received in the form of historical vineyards and a knowledge that only comes from experience, Mariluz Ruiz and Javier Rubio founded their own winery. Located in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, Viñedos Real Rubio is the sum of this legacy, of a firm will to develop all the capabilities of good wines from the best qualities of the vineyards and a way of life built in around the world of wine.
The vineyard is home to all the varieties covered by the Rioja Designation of Origin (Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Viura, Verdejo...) and, in addition, maintains the coexistence of vineyards over 60 years old with younger ones, which do not exceed a decade.
This diversity, managed with innovative and respectful agricultural practices that try to extract the best qualities from each plot, provides us with raw material with excellent properties for its subsequent transformation into wine.
