Elevate your next celebration with a sparkling masterpiece that perfectly balances Italian heritage and modern elegance. This Gold Medal winner from the International Wine Awards is a beautifully refined Prosecco Superiore DOCG that brings the vibrant, sun-drenched energy of the Veneto region straight to your glass.
What does DOCG mean?
DOCG stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita. It is the highest level of classification for Italian wines, serving as a stamp of excellence. It guarantees that the wine was produced in a specific, regulated region following rigorous quality standards, from the way the grapes are grown to the final bottling process. When you see DOCG on a bottle of Prosecco, it is your assurance of superior quality, historical authenticity, and stricter production controls compared to standard Prosecco.-
The Profile: Expect a pale, straw-yellow pour with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is intensely fresh and fruity, led by notes of crisp green apple and delicate acacia flowers, followed by a soft, harmonious palate that finishes with refreshing elegance.
-
Classic Pairings: This versatile sparkler shines alongside fresh seafood platters, delicate hors d'oeuvres, or a creamy burrata salad.
-
Irish Favourite Pairings: For a sophisticated night in, pair this Prosecco with a classic bag of fresh, crispy salt-and-vinegar-dusted fish and chips; the wine’s vibrant acidity acts like a squeeze of fresh lemon, cutting through the rich batter. For a brunch or light lunch, it is exquisite with quality smoked salmon on brown bread; the bubbles and crisp acidity lift the oily, rich texture of the salmon, while the bread's nutty, earthy notes complement the wine's subtle floral undertones. Alternatively, enjoy it with a decadent, buttery ham and mature cheddar toastie, where the delicate sweetness of the Extra-Dry style provides a perfect counterpoint to the saltiness of the melted cheese.

Official Awards: Gold Medal Winner at the International Wine Awards in Vienna 2021.
The production process is defined by precision and a commitment to quality that captures the true essence of the Glera grape. By prioritizing estate-driven creations and maintaining total control over the value chain, the winemakers ensure that each bottle reflects the specific character of their high-altitude Veneto vineyards. The grapes are carefully selected and sorted to ensure only the finest fruit reaches the fermentation tanks, where the wine is handled with minimal intervention to preserve its natural aromatic profile and vibrant freshness.
Why we love this producerBonaDea is a passionate project born from a family legacy with deep-rooted history in the Veneto region. For over a hundred years, the family dedicated themselves to growing and cultivating the finest grapes for other winemakers, before finally taking the leap to craft and bottle their own estate-driven creations in 2015. This transition bridges the gap between generational wisdom and modern artisan winemaking. Their philosophy is simple yet profound: maintaining total control over the value chain to deliver authentic, premium wines that speak honestly of their heritage.
Sustainability & Farming PracticesRooted in a philosophy that honours the earth, the estate prioritizes natural harmony over industrial intervention:
- Vineyard Practices:Â The vineyards are managed with a strict focus on eco-conscious farming, protecting local biodiversity and practicing minimal chemical intervention to maintain pristine soil health.
