The Chateau du Val d'Or is a classic Right Bank Bordeaux wine from the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation, celebrated for its depth, elegance, and age-worthiness.  This wine is primarily Merlot-driven (91% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon) blended with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which adds structure and aromatic complexity.

On the nose it has inviting aromas of ripe blackberries, black cherries and plum with layers of spices, tobacco, leather and earthy tones.

This wine is full-bodied. Expect flavors of dark fruit, alongside hints of chocolate, licorice and spices. It has a smooth finish that leaves a touch of minerality.

We ship the day of, or the day after receiving your order, no later.

Irish Deliveries are usually made within 24 hours of shipping, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Please include a phone number with the shipping address. This helps the driver make sure your parcel is delivered to the right address in cases where nobody is home etc.

Tracking numbers will be provided in your Order Confirmation email. You can use this to track the status of the delivery.
