This wine comes from high altitude vineyards in the Almansa region of Spain. A blend of 50% Monastrell, 25% Garnacha Tintoera and 25% Tempranillo.
The wine has a complex nose of raspberries, stewed plums and spices with vanilla notes from the period of barrel ageing. Rich and yet balanced on the palate, it has great depth and a lingering smooth finish.
