Ruby color, concentrated. Intense and complex aroma, with notes of red fruit, black cherry, spices, and dark chocolate. The palate offers good volume, with firm tannins and good acidity, and an elegant and balanced finish. Ideal with dark chocolate petit gâteau, brigadeiro cake, brie, and Camembert cheese.
Old Vines, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca, Sousão, Tinto Cão, Tinta Amarela and other traditional Douro grape varieties.
This LBV begins with vineyard selection and hand-picked grapes, carefully selecting the grapes. Vinification then takes place in small vats with traditional foot-treading.
