Tasting Notes
-
Appearance: Deep, concentrated ruby-purple with a hint of garnet at the rim, indicating a wine that has aged gracefully.
-
Aroma (Nose): Complex and sophisticated, opening with a refined bouquet of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry) and a delicate touch of red berries. Interwoven with these fruit notes are intricate layers of cedar wood, tobacco box, spice, a hint of dark chocolate, and a subtle, mineral truffle nuance typical of aged Saint-Emilion.
-
Palate: Full-bodied yet remarkably elegant and velvety, with fine, well-integrated tannins that provide structure. The palate is layered with rich black fruit, licorice, and savory mineral notes. A balanced acidity gives freshness and energy.
-
Finish: The finish is exceptionally long and persistent, leaving a lingering impression of complex spice and fruit.
