Known for its elegance and balance, this wine is crafter primarily from classic Bordeaux grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.

Deep ruby red color with a vibrand hue. Rich and complex nose with notes of blackcurrant, plum and cherry, complemented by hints of cedar, tobacco and spices.

Full-bodied with silky tannins and well integrated oak.  The wine exhibits flavors of dark berries, cassis and subtle earthy tones with a touch of vanilla and mocha from barrel aging.

Pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasted lamb, duck confit and aged cheeses.

HISTORY
Château Devise d'Ardilley was created in 1991. It was renewed as Cru Bourgeois in 2003. Madeleine and Jacques Philippe bought the winery in 2000. A dream comes true. They continuously improve the winery. They gathered and replanted the vineyard around the property. They built a modern cellar to guarantee a top quality of the winemaking.

APPROACH IN THE VINEYARD
The vineyard was planted and replanted all around the winery. It makes it easy to manage the labour at each season. The vineyard is running without any chemical products. A grazing of sheep is used in the vineyard for 10 years. The vineyard has been certified as organic since 2018.
